The National Trust for Historic Preservation commissioned Aurora to conserve and rewire 46 historic lighting fixtures and 24 portable lamps at the mansion in 2003. In 2004 Aurora created two exact historic replications of the original Clark, Coit and Cargill chandelier owned by the Metropolitan Museum of Art. These now hang in the drawing room at Lyndhurst.

Some of the most challenging were three art gallery chandeliers (shown to the right), where the original polychrome finish had been covered with heavy tinted lacquer. Aurora brought back the original color and luster of these fixtures.
